The age of Supersonic Passenger Travel came and went - and appears to be making a come back today.

Supersonic passenger travel was finally realized with the introduction of the BAC/Aerospatiale Concorde, joined a short time late by the Soviet Tupolev Tu-144. The United States attempted, but failed to join tis elite circle as the Boeing 2707 project went nowhere. Today, there is renewed interest in supersonic passenger flight with all-new designs emerging from several prominent and some lesser-known players.
