Definition of the term 'TABOO frequencies ' per official documentation of the United States Department of Defense.

TABOO frequencies

Any friendly frequency of such importance that it must never be deliberately jammed or interfered with by friendly forces. Normally, these frequencies include international distress, CEASE BUZZER, safety, and controller frequencies. These frequencies are generally long standing.
